On March 27, 2017, Mr. Xi linjun, Chairman of All China Federation of Returned overseas Chinese, Mr. Qiaowei, Vice-chairman of all China Federation of Returned overseas Chinese and Mr. Huang jikai, curator of China's Overseas Chinese History Museum, met the delegation of YRIC, leading by the Pioneer honorary president of YRIC Florence Fang and Executive president of YRIC Liu Meng. Mr. Pang Yan, president of the 《China Times》and president of the Seoul Enterprise Group, accompanied at the meeting. Mrs Fang donated the handwritten thank-you letter gaven by US President Gerorge W. Bush and other historical relics to the Chinese Overseas Chinese History Museum.

In this meeting, Fang talked about her experience of hard struggle in the United States for more than 60 years as well as the large amount of  works she has done for Sino-US exchanges. To illustrate, She prepared the first overseas Menorial Hall of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggressiones and donated $175,000 personally to purchase the air craft that was used to resupply the Chinese war effort during World War II, and conveived on permanent display at the Flying Tigers Heritage Park and Museum in Guilin. At the same time, she expressed the believe that it is necessary to improve national self-confidence and cultural self-confidence.

Chairman Lin Jun spoke highly of Fang’s effort in suporting and promoting Sino-American friendship and improving the status of overseas Chinese in the United States. As the matter of fact, she is the first Asian American that gets on the cover of American publications and own the largest non-daily newspaper group herself. The community garden of San Francisco is also named after her. All of this reflect that the overseas Chinese have self-improvement mind and the ability to achieve outstanding achievements. Mrs. Fang is the real role model of all Chinese people. Chairman Lin Jun and Vice President Qiao Wei said that the Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese is the home of overseas Chinese in the world and is willing to make friends all over the world.
