The France-China Committee Will Visit Wuhan At the Invitation of YRIC In This Autumn

On September 6, 2016, secretary general of the France-China Committee Mrs. Lin Bixi, director Cui Wen and director of the secretary general office Fei Duoli had a communication with YRIC Executive President Mr. Liu Meng and New York YRIC Secretary General Mr. Yan Yong on bilateral strategic cooperation and visiting Wuhan in October this year. Vice president member of YRIC Schneider Group arranged deputy general manager Wang Ping to take part in the meeting.

Secretary General of the France-China Committee Mrs. Lin Bixi said, the Committee will arrange President of the French Employers Association to lead a delegation of 30 entrepreneur members to visit Wuhan in late October at the invitation of YRIC, investigating projects for the enterprise members through both platforms. Mrs. Lin Bixi expressed her willing to become the partner of France YRIC and discuss on the Sino-French economic cooperation opportunities. YRIC Executive President Mr. Liu Meng expressed sincere invitation and expectation to the French delegation, and he said Wuhan is one of the Chinese cities that have most French companies and also the birthplace of YRIC. Mr. Liu Meng said he would make a relevant arrangement and plan for the visit in late October.

Subsequently, Mr. Liu Meng proposed the alliance proposal to Mrs. Lin Bixi: First is sharing both members, especially YRIC that will soon be set up in France; Second is jointly holding Sino-French activities and both sides can take turns every year to carry out economic and trade exchanges between China and France, and holding the "Yangtze River International Forum"; Third is sharing business resources,to help member enterprises to realize the two-way internationalization of going out and bringing in, and meet the globalization and asset allocation needs of member enterprises; Fourth is building a communication mechanism, and carrying out all-round cooperation not only in the business, but also in various fields of culture and art etc.




The meeting


As a non-governmental and non-profit organization, the France-China Committee was set up in 1979 under the support of the Chinese and French government, mainly composed of France's largest and most well-known multinational companies. Now it has more than 100 French company members operating in China, and these enterprises occupy 80% of the market value of CAC40 in France, with global sales equivalent to 62% of GDP in France. It has gathered all big French companies that trade with China, including Schneider Electric, Suez, Thompson, Alstom, Air Liquide Group and other well-known enterprises, and these French companies have developed very well in China, playing an important role as a bridge between France and China international relations.


In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economy , more and more small and medium French enterprises have began to accelerate investment in China, and join the France-China Committee which provide a lot of information, advice and advocacy services for members in a unique way, and have organized a number of activities. With the mission of expanding economic and trade cooperation between China and France, the France-China Committee make all members benefit from it through constructive dialogues, and make economic benefits for the two countries in a broader perspective.
