When I met Mr. Liu Meng in London, it was close to the end of his trip to the Uk and he had met with representatives of the British political and business circles and planned for the establishment of YRIC in the UK. The tight schedule did not make him feel tired, and his neat dress and wide smiles were the first impressions he had left to the reporter.

Throughout the conversation, he has always stressed "different". After graduating from university, his first job is  the director general of Party Committee Propaganda Department in the university and he publicized the party by singing songs, "should not be the same with others". Then Mr. Liu Meng entered the human insurance company, starting from a clerk of the branch company, and when he was over 30 year old, the head company transferred him to Beijing. During his work, he participated in the compilation of China's first insurance product catalog. Then as a person in charge of the marketing department, he participated in the establishment of the first Sino-foreign joint venture insurance company. In 2004, Mr. Liu Meng entered the real estate industry, and later also invested in China's internet. Today, as an entrepreneur who already has many companies,he remains reluctant to stop. He said, rather than a entrepreneur, he expected himself to be a social entrepreneur, business thinker and global chamber of commerce preacher, to do something for the change and development of the world, and this is a more valuable and meaningful thing. The establishment of YRIC,a non-profit organization, is his efforts to realize his ideal, and his mission, his pursuit of "meaningful" and "interesting" thing.

British itinerary: Mr.Liu Meng took part in meetings every day 

Mr.Liu Meng came to the UK this time mainly for the preliminary investigation and preparationof the establishment of YRIC in the UK. He told the reporter that in the past few days he had saw at least ten transnational entrepreneurs, "they all discuss how to use the special period of the UK to rapidly expand investment and cooperation in the UK and everyone is very enthusiastic."

Mr. Liu Meng said that this trip to the UK is a very good start. Within the five days, he met with the British political and business representatives and Chinese embassy officials, talking about how to let YRIC blend in the local. On the morning of this interview, he met with the chairman of China Investors Club Franklin William. Mr. Liu Meng said that the club has 5000 member entrepreneurs. Some entrepreneurs in Britain hope to go to China for investment, and some Chinese entrepreneurs want to invest in the UK, which is equivalent to a "going out and bringing in" mode, according with the ideal of YRIC, "but YRIC can use the platform  with 20 global chambers of commerce with the same name in the future to help these entrepreneurs realize multi-dimensional communication. "

Mr. Liu Meng said frankly that he took part in meetings every day in the UK, basically got up at three o'clock in the morning ,then in the meeting at five o'clock,and began to eat breakfast at seven o'clock, and then had other schedule.

Avoid becoming a fellow-townsman association

Since established in 2014, YRIC has already seven chambers of commerce with the same name and developed rapidly within just two years. What is the reason behind this?

Mr. Liu Meng said: "when YRIC was established in Hubei, I  defined it  'the most localized international chamber of commerce, the most internationalized local chamber of commerce'. We have brought this concept to the world, such as the upcoming chamber of commerce in the UK will be different from other Chinese chambers of commerce. We had more understanding of the UK than other Chinese chambers of commerce , more familiar with China than other British chambers of commerce. At the same time, we will also have diverse exchanges and interaction among  chambers of commerce from China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Italy, Canada, and so on. This is China's first global chamber of commerce platform."

He also told the reporter that YRIC has been awarded “the top ten innovative chamber of commerce” by the China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and he had the confidence to  complete the layout of the world, create a unique global chamber of commerce group model and become the world's largest business leader platform within five years.

YRIC Founding Honorary Presidents are Mr. Li Ka-shing and so on and core members are from  elites of various circles in the world. A reporter asked:” How has YRIC attracted numerous industry leaders? Compared to other chambers of commerce, what makes YRIC unique?

Mr. Liu Meng said: "Members of YRIC  are basically leaders of enterprises. In addition, we will also choose industry mainly the financial and other large enterprises. At the same time, members also need to have the international demand."

He told the reporter that at the establishment of the first overseas YRIC, Li Ka-shing sent a congratulatory letter in which he wrote: "let the Yangtze River flow into the sky". Mr Liu Meng said, this has become their idea to achieve the true sense of "international",which means it can not be limited to the Chinese circle everywhere.

YRIC mission is to solve the asymmetry of information and trust, then, in the well-developed Internet today, what are the physical chamber of commerce strengths?

Mr. Liu Meng said: "In the age of the Internet, solving the problem of asymmetric information is easy, but the asymmetry of trust is not easy to solve, which depends on the strength of the chamber of commerce, understanding and trust of human.

YRIC can not only provide a face-to-face exchange platform for entrepreneurs, but also provide win-win cooperation  platform."
