On 27 July, 2016, London time, the envoy and counselor of China’s Embassy to UK, Mr. Jin Xu met with YRIC Global Executive President and Yangtze River International Holdings Group Chairman Mr. Liu Meng and the delegation and had a communication about preparations for UK YRIC in London Embassy Economic and Commercial Counselor's office. President of Fujian Federation in Scotland, UK Mr. Lu Yunfei , Chief Vice President Mr. Xue Ruiyong, British Sun Media European region Principal Mr. Yang Xiaohe, the Economic and Commercial Counselor's office of China’s Embassy to UK Mr. Chen Meichen attended the meeting.

Mr. Liu Meng first introduced the brief situation of YRIC and development plans in the UK and expressed his hope to get the support of the China’s Embassy and listen to the expert and scholar Mr. Jin xu’s suggestions, to make UK YRIC extraordinary and more internationally commercially valued, especially in the Brexit background to play the role of platform, seize the opportunity, promote bidirectional multi dimension cooperation and development among UK, China and the YRIC worldwide member enterprises . He said that the establishment of UK YRIC will be completed as soon as possible, and UK will be regarded as one of the key layout of YRIC in the world.

With deep understanding of UK economic development and Sino-British business cooperation Mr. Jin Xu spoke highly of YRIC unique global mode and two-way business function, and introduced the UK investment cooperation situation and the demand of economic development after departure from Europe, and suggested YRIC to identify the joint point with the UK economy development and target to locate in UK, especially recommended the combination of the the northern England revitalization plan that the former British finance minister Mr. Osborn proposed and the Yangtze River Economic Zone, and the friendly relationship between Britain second largest city Manchester and Hubei Wuhan, and said that the Economic and Commercial Counselor's office of the China’s Embassy will help the development of YRIC in UK.

The meeting

The British Chinese with Fujian nationality is a group with larger number and influence. British tea culture which has earned a global reputation is brought to UK by the Fujian people, President of Fujian Federation in Scotland, UK Mr. Lu Yunfei and Chief Vice President Mr. Xue Ruiyong during the meeting said that they would fully support the motherland global business leader platform YRIC to settle in the United Kingdom, and they would arouse the British Chinese and mainstream political and business heavyweights resources to promote the development of YRIC.

It is reported that YRIC is a chamber of commerce with the same name and the non profit organization jointly organized by the sponsors in the main cities of the world. The first YRIC was established on May 20, 2014 in Wuhan, Hubei Province with the Starr Financial Group Chairman Mr. Maurice R. Greenberg, Cheung Kong (Holdings) Board Chairman Mr. Li Ka Shing and Fanya Group Chairman Ms. Florence Fang jointly as founding honorary president, and subsequently establishes the strategy of  "develop globally, deploy along the river", adheres to the core idea of the win-win principle, creates a mode of global chamber of commerce group and is committed to build the world's largest business leader platform.
