On the morning of July 1st, 2016, Paris time, the third meeting of China-France High-level Mechanism for Dialogue on People-to-People Exchanges was held in Paris. Together with Vice-Premier of the China State Council Ms. Liu Yandong and over twenty Chinese and French ministers, YRIC Global Executive President Mr. Liu Meng was invited to attend the documentary "French-Chinese University Images" boot ceremony. Mr. Liu Meng sat next to Mr. Claude Guéant, the Former French Interior Minister in VIP seats.

During the activity, Mr. Liu Meng reported the information of YRIC to Vice-Premier Ms. Liu Yandong and gave her YRIC picture album as a present. The Chinese leaders in company with Ms. Liu Yandong to attend the activity are: Minister of General Administration of Sports of China Mr. Liu Peng, Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Hao Ping, Deputy Minister of Culture Mr. Ding Wei, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Mr. Wang Zhigang, Deputy Minister of State Administration of Press, Radio, Film and Televition Mr. Tong Gang, Deputy Director of National Health and Family Planning Commission Ms Cui Li, Deputy President of All-China Women’s Federation Ms. Meng Xiaosi, Deputy Secretary of State Council Ms. Wang Xiaojuan, Chinese Ambassador to France Mr. Zhai Jun, etc. And the mayor of Lyon in France Mr. Gérard Collomb made a speech.

Established in 1920, Peking French-Chinese University with Mr. Cai Yuanpei as the headmaster and Lyon French-Chinese University established in July 1921 witnessed a special communication history between China and France. Mr. Liu Meng said the up-coming French YRIC would be a bridge for Sino-French friendly communication and commercial cooperation like French-Chinese University and in order to promote the relation of China and France over time, YRIC would create more value and better cases for current Sino-French friendly cooperation by the unique mode of chamber of commerce .

YRIC is an association of chambers with the same name established by co-founders across the global, with the goal of building the wold’s largest platform for business leaders. On May 20th,2014, the first YRIC was established in Wuhan which Chinese city most French live in, with the strategy of “developing globally, deploying along the Yangtze River”. Business leaders across the world will use one name, build one association and share one platform. By now, seven chambers of commerce with the same name have been established in the world and the eighth YRIC is expected to locate in Paris.
