YRIC Attended Mr. Gary Faye Locke's Dinner Party, Who Is the Former US Ambassador to China and First Chinese American Governor in US History

On May 15, 2016, Mr. Liu Meng, Executive President of YRIC represented YRIC to attend Mr. Gary Faye Locke's dinner party in Beijing. Gary Faye Locke is the former US Ambassador to China and first Chinese American governor in US History. At the dinner party, Liu Meng introduced YRIC to Gary Faye Locke, and expressed the willingness to cooperate. At the same time, Liu Meng gave Yangtze River Miles Chart Stamps which means “the Yangtze River flows over the sky”to Gary Faye Locke as a gift.

As the first Chinese American governor,  third Chinese minister and first Chinese US Ambassador to China in US history, Gary Faye Locke's popularity is no less than any US president. Chinese-American politician Gary Faye Locke was born in Seattle, Washington, US. In 1996, Gary Faye Locke was elected to 21st governor of Washington as 58% of the vote, and he is the first Chinese American who was elected to US governor. In February, 2009, Gary Faye Locke was formally nominated by US President Obama for new Commerce Secretary, and become the 2nd Chinese American head of an executive department in Obama's cabinet. On May 1, 2009, Gary Faye Locke assumed the office of the 36th Commerce Secretary of the United States and became the 2nd Chinese American head of an executive department in Obama administration, joining Energy Secretary Steven Chu. On March 9, Gary Faye Locke was formally nominated by US President Obama for new US Ambassador to China, and became the first Chinese US Ambassador to China in US history.
