On May 11, 2016, Mr. Liu Meng, Executive President of YRIC visited Mr. Ji Chunqing, Deputy Secretary of China WTO Commission for Africa and Executive Director of China Africa Industrial Forum in Africa. They had in-depth discussion and communication about China-Africa Forum and establishing YRIC in Africa.

China Society for World Trade Organization Studies of Commission for Africa(referred to as China WTO Commission for Africa) is national professional organization, which is founded by China Society for World Trade Organization Studies, and supervised by the Ministry of Commerce of P. R. C. It is professional organization that organizes experts who study Africa to discuss economy and trade of China and Africa. It provides Chinese government, industries, and enterprises with theory and service, pushes forward Chinese enterprises to participate fully in international competition according to basic principles and relevant rules of WTO, and also helps government to play a positive role in the progress of improving the multilateral trading system. 

Through 10 years’development and improvement, China Africa Industrial Forum(referred to as CAIF) has become a flag to flourish China-Africa relationship well. The first CAIF was held at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing from November 21 to 23, 2009. The second CAIF was held at Beijing International Hotel on September 26, 2011, and its theme was friendly cooperation and common development. The third CAIF was held at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing on November 28, 2013, and its theme was mutual trust cooperation and win-win development. The fourth CAIF was held at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing on November 9, 2015, and its theme was helping Africa and developing industry.
