On April 8, 2016, at the Transformation and Upgrading Innovation Conference of National Association of Chamber of Commerce which was held in Dongguan, Guangdong, Mr. Liu Meng, Executive President of YRIC, gave a speech of Taking the Chamber of Commerce Group Model to Lead Chinese Chamber of Commerce Globalization, and specifically proposed to develop the Chamber of Commerce Group model with Chinese characteristics, which widely approved among the National Association of Chamber of Commerce.

Liu Meng started the speech with why do we come? Where shall we go? And how can we arrive at there? He said, in April of 105 years ago, in order to promote the transformation and upgrading of Chinese society, a group of people launched Second Guangzhou Uprising in Guangdong but failed. After 6 months, this group of people came to Wuhan to launched the 1911 Revolution, and they succeeded in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the Chinese society. China turned into Republic China from feudal dynasty. Today, after 105 years, in the same April, in Chinese chamber of commerce circle, there is another group of people, who came to Guangzhou( the leading place of Chinese revolution and reform and innovation) with idealism feelings to promote the transformation and upgrading of the Chinese chamber of commerce. He was touched to came to Guangdong from Wuhan. Chinese chamber of commerce not only needs activists of chamber of commerce, but also thinkers of chamber of commerce, and evangelists of chamber of commerce.

Then, Executive President Liu Meng analyzed the development status and problems of Chinese chamber of commerce. Then he pointed out three views. First, China's Ministry of Civil Affairs published three batches of copycatting organizations which changed the domestic chamber of commerce internationalizing method. Second, economic downturn shocked enterprises development which showed the importance of chamber of commerce platform value. Third, "going abroad" and  "globalization"  of Chinese enterprises is the current situation which made it more urgent to develop Chinese chamber of commerce abroad. Where is the development of more than 100 thousands Chinese chamber of commerce? That is an important project of Chinese chamber of commerce theoretical innovation.

In the speech, he said, developing Chinese chamber of commerce by Chinese culture and wisdom all around the world would be the future and inexorable trend of Chinese chamber of commerce. And the chamber of commerce group model solved not only how to develop Chinese chamber of commerce globalization but also the current problems of domestic chamber of commerce. It was the best way for the transformation and upgrading of Chinese chamber of commerce and the best expression of win-win idea which was suggested by YRIC. 

There are three contents of chamber of commerce group. Firstly, building the social enterprises, which means running not-for-profit organizations by businesses operation, and achieves rapid development by mergers & acquisitions; secondly, advocating the cross-border thinking, which shows the multi-industry, multi-country, and cross-cutting; thirdly, realizing the capital and resource interaction, which means promoting resource by members, realizing capital by finance, combining the vitality and reality to create the platform value and ecosystem of chamber of commerce.
